Priorities, Passions, Intensity, we each have our own and they are a true measure of what matters most to us. As Paul so aptly points out, as children we did childish things, but as adults we need to set childish things aside and act as responsible adults. Mature Christians should assume the role of teacher and set the examples for our children, grandchildren and the youth of our time to follow.

As Followers and Servants of God shouldn't our top Priorities, Passions and Intensity be directed toward what is Most Important to us and our families? If the top Priority, Passion and Intensity in our lives is not First Seeking the Kingdom of God, then what have we put before and above Him?

Our children, grandchildren and the kids in the neighborhood are very smart, nothing gets by them. They are totally tuned in to the things we say and do. They are keenly aware of our Priorities, Passions and Intensity concerning them.

As responsible adults and Christians we are authority figures for children. It is vital for us to take a long, hard and honest look at ourselves and the messages we are sending to the children in our families and the community through our Priorities, Passions and Intensities. I know we all want to send the correct messages and set the right examples for our children to follow. Think about it.

Now that you have given it some thought about what you think your Priorities, Passions and Intensities are; ask any child, or even an adult, what they perceive to be the most important thing is in your life. How many would say Golf, Football, Baseball, Basketball, Fishing, Boating, Cars, TV, Computers or Vacations?

How many would say God is the most important thing in your life? We see it in the things you say and the things you do.

Yes, a time of reflection on where we are in our walk with God might prove to be very beneficial. It is good to remember that when we Seek First the Kingdom of God all these things we need in life will be added unto us.

Jerusalem 30 A.D. is all about Priorities, serving God while meeting the needs of the millions of people who will enter its gates.
